Life is so good.
I've been living the way I want to live.

God is good,
He is WORKING in me.

Here: my FAVORITE passage atm!
write you soon , byeeee

“You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.

“You’re blessed when you feel you’ve lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you.

“You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought.

“You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.

“You’re blessed when you care. At the moment of being ‘care-full,’ you find yourselves cared for.

“You’re blessed when you get your inside world—your mind and heart—put right. Then you can see God in the outside world.

“You’re blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That’s when you discover who you really are, and your place in God’s family.

10 “You’re blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God’s kingdom.

11-12 “Not only that—count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—give a cheer, even!—for though they don’t like it, I do! And all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble.

Matthew 5:3-12

thankfulTIMING

TIMING
1. The choice, judgment, or control of when something should be done.

2. A particular point or period of time when something happens.
____________________________________________
[Proverbs 3:5-6]
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

It's so crazy how nothing is consequence, but only God's perfect timing.
I am starting to feel like God's plan for my life is finally starting to take hold.
I feel clear and ready and able and willing and everything you should feel when the right things are happening at the right times.

My Facebook fast is only TEN days in and I can already feel a vast difference in myself.
Overall every area in my life has been affected positively. I've been keeping up with my college work and some days I even PUSH MYSELF to get assignments done ahead of time... (something I've not really done since freshman year of high school.) My whole life feels like a second chance. A chance for me to be my absolute best. I've even started exercising more! I've been taking my beast of a dog (black lab/dane mix) out more and we play and play and play and I have started daily yoga. Lately my energy is through the roof and my my thoughts are pretty much always in praise mode. I am just one thankful daughter.

Life is wonderful when you accept God's love and understand everything is a blessing.
When your heart is always thankful, your mind is always happy.
No stress, No worry,
God has everything
Just bask in HOW MUCH he loves you.
He loves you.
He loves you.
He really more than loves you.

WeirdLOVE

WEIRD:
Suggesting something supernatural; uncanny: "the weird crying of a seal".
_________________________________________________________________
It's weird... Everyone in my house has a LAPTOP.
Grandpa and Grandma.... CHECK
My Two Brothers... CHECK
geeeeeeze, even I have TWO!

...but maybe that is not the WEIRD thing....
the real weird thing is when we all sit at the kitchen table with our laptops....

Can you imagine five people sitting at one table starring at five different screens not saying a single word to each other? Seriously, five people all so engrossed in their own projects in their own world that they forget others are around them. I think it's freakin weird. To me a kitchen table is for eating and conversation with loved ones. When did this change for us? When did our lives become so involved around technology? When did our focus shift?

You want to know something else that is weird for me?
FACEBOOK.
Every morning, I wake up, pop open my eyes, roll over, grab my laptop, turn on that laptop, and then instantly OPEN FACEBOOK.... hello world, I'm happy and social.

NO, what the heck, I have a bible to read, a GOD to praise and life to live... WHY is the first thing I do when I wake up is check my Facebook?

---------- The thing is I had a craving for social attention and felt like what others posted was important to my life. I gave into this craving and created a habit. A BAD HABIT.
A HABIT I have every intention of CHANGING.

What others think of me, post of themselves, or rant about is none of my concern.
I have one focus in life, and that focus is GOD and his love for me.
_____________________________________________________________ SO:
I have put myself on a FACEBOOK TIMEOUT.

I realize not all of Facebook is bad... I mean come on, I can chat with friends or use it to keep up in my ENGLISH class... but personally, I am putting too much effort into something so meaningless to my overall way of living... and this is NOT GOOD.

I am challenging myself to a three month break. In this break whenever I feel the need to go onto Facebook I will read a chapter in my BIBLE instead.

When I have a craving for something of this world, I will do my best to redirect this CRAVING for one of FAITH.

Think of the person you want to be... What are you doing to be that person? What goals or actions are you taking to be that person?

"Stop loving the world and the things that are in the world. If anyone persists in loving the world, the Father's love is not in him." -1 John 2:15-

I have been so blessed in LOVE. My LIFE GOAL: to bless others with the love I have been blessed with. PURE, genuine, all in, sincerely all for you love...
And the only way I will be able to achieve this
love for others.... Is to be filled with PERFECT LOVE from the ALL POWERFUL, ALPHA and OMEGA, LORD of ALL CREATION...
and the only way I can stay filled with my FATHER'S LOVE  is to
quit giving love to things of this world like Facebook.
BABY STEPS.

FirstPOST

Crave:
  1. to Feel a powerful desire for (something)
  2. Ask for (something).

Faith:
  1. Complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
  2. Strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.
as a 'born-again' Christian, this verse speaks volumes to me about how to approach my new found faith:
"Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment..." [[1Peter 2:2]]
